Esxence 2014: pioggia di stelle (3)

Continua la parata di stelle fra le proposte più interessanti sentite a Esxence 2014. Dopo aver colto le rose più belle sbocciate nella primavera milanese, parliamo di quel vento verde che da qualche stagione soffia sulle creazioni più bucoliche e corroboranti.

Porgendomi una touche, Vincent Micotti precisa subito che Sacre du Primtemps è solo uno studio e non un nuovo lancio, una composizione ricca inizialmente pensata come profumo su misura che difficilmente entrerà a far parte della linea. Ispirata al celebre balletto russo composto in Svizzera, come Vincent ricorda da virtuoso del violoncello, questa eau de parfum unisex apre citrica e dissonante di galbano proprio come le prime battute di Stravinskij. Nell'estremo salto dalla testa brillante verso l'ombrosità barbara del vetiver puntato di cuoio russo, la vergine che si immola qui è la rosa di maggio: volteggia in punta di piedi mostrando i suoi colori, dall'acciaio al miele, per poi morire tra le giunchiglie.

Let's go on with the stars parade of the most interesting proposals smelled at Esxence 2014. After picking three beautiful roses bloomed in the milanese spring, let's talk about the green wind blowing since some season on the most bucolic and corroborating creations.

Passing me a blotter, Vincent Micotti immediately specifies that Sacre du Primtemps is just a study and not a new launch, a rich composition originally meant to be a bespoke perfume that hardly will become part of the line. Inspired by the famous russian ballet composed in Switzerland as Vincent points out being a cello virtuoso, this unisex eau de parfum opens citric and dissonant just like the first bars written by Stravinskij. In the extreme drop from the initial brightness to the barbaric gloom of vetiver with russian leather hints, the virgin giving her life here is May rose: she twirls tiptoe showing her colours, from steel to honey to die then into the jonquils.

La stella, quella simbolo dei cinque anni di eccellenza ad Esxence, tramonta per lasciar posto all'alba della quotidianità. Piano piano tutte le novità presentate arriveranno sugli scaffali delle profumerie dove tutti potremo risentirle con più calma e magari stravolgere le prime impressioni fatte nell'atmosfera euforica e fugace degli stand.

Parlando di stelle, ne sono nate di nuove ed interessanti anche quest'anno nel firmamento della profumeria artistica. Grande tendenza si conferma la galassia delle note verdi, fra cui spaziano le note erbacee ed aromatiche ma anche quelle vegetali o speziate e fredde di cardamomo e coriandolo, senza dimenticare quelle floreali come magnolia e gardenia. Ma ecco la Walk of Fame in cui brillano le stelle che mi hanno colpito.

The star, the one symbolizing the five years of excellence at Esxence, is going down to make space to the everyday's dawn. Slowly all the new launches will head the shelves of the perfume shops where everybody will be able to smell them again with more time and maybe to change the first impressions made surrounded by the euphoric and fast atmosphere of the booths.

Speaking about stars, also this year there are interesting newborn ones in the sky of artistic perfumery. Big trend is confirmed the galaxy of green notes that go from the herbaceous and aromatic notes to the vegetal or cold spicy ones of cardamome and coriander, not to forget the floral ones like magnolia and gardenia. But here we go with the Walk of Fame where shine bright the stars that caught my attention.
