L'Artisan Parfumeur

Packaging tutto diverso veste la nuova linea Explosions d'Emotions lanciata ufficialmente a Fragranze. A vent'anni dall'ormai introvabile collezione dei Sautes d'Humeur di Olivia Giacobetti, il parfumeur Maison Bertrand Duchaufour si ispira ancora agli stati d'animo, stavolta en deux. Amour Nocturne è la fragranza delle tre che più mi ha emozionato e stuzzicato per la sua originalità. Dopo l'amore, la notte profuma di cedro appena tagliato che stilla linfa e latte, macchiati dal contrasto sapido di caramello e polvere da sparo. Inaspettato, come un fuoco d'artificio.

La Parfumerie Moderne

Tutto parte da un antico palazzo abbandonato in riva al lago coi soffitti logori e i mobili impolverati. Dentro un comodino, Philippe Neirinck scopre un flacone di profumo appartenuto forse ad una principessa indiana. Lo apre e l'aria si tinge di lillà, di primavere lontane. Nasce così con l'aiuto di Marc Antoine Corticchiato La Parfumerie Moderne, ispirata alla grande profumeria francese di inizio 900 e proiettata nel futuro. Il più interessante? Naturalmente Désarmant, un lillà maturo ed elegantissimo con accenti speziati e poudré. Da risentire al più presto.

L'Artisan Parfumeur

A completely different packaging guests the new line Explosions d'Emotions officially launched at Fragranze. After twenty years from the very rare collection Sautes d'Humeur by Olivia Giacobetti, the in-house perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour takes again inspiration from moods, this time en deux. Amour Nocturne is the fragrance among the three that most thrilled me for its innovation. After making love, the night smells of just chopped cedarwood leaking sap and milk, dashed by savoury caramel and gun powder to balance it. Unexpected, like a firework.

La Parfumerie Moderne

All begins from an ancient forgotten palace on the lake side with ruined ceilings and dusty furniture. In a bedside table, Philippe Neirinck finds a perfume flask, maybe left by an indian princess. He opens it and lilac blooms in the air, redolent of springs from long time ago. Collaborating with Marc Antoine Corticchiato he founded La Parfumerie Moderne, inspired by the early XX century great french perfumery but looking to the future. The most interesting? Of course Désarmant, a very elegant full blooming lilac with its spicy-powdery accents. A must sniff as soon as possible.

Neela Vermeire Creations

Neela Vermeire porta a Fragranze parecchie novità. Prima fra tutte l'arrivo in casa Kaon che distribuirà la sua linea in Italia. Secondo i nuovi stilosissimi flaconi disegnati da Pierre Dinand e molto più maneggevoli, assieme alla nuova confezione. Ultimo ma non meno importante il lancio ufficiale di Ashoka, quarta creazione di Duchaufour dedicata al leggendario imperatore indiano vissuto nel 300 A. C. Come un monarca saggio, il sandalo Mysore è incoronato dalla luminosità delle note verdi di fico e mimosa e si ammantata della sontuosità di osmanthus e iris. Il suo sillage regale mi ha stregato quindi presto ve ne riparlerò.

NU_BE

Nuove esalazioni scaturiscono dalla crosta terrestre, materie in continua mutazione di stato come l'immaginario creativo di NU_BE che si affida ancora ad Antoine Lie per dare forma a [80Hg] Mercury e [16S] Sulphur. Floreale ozonico insolito, Mercury è un fluido scintillante, nautico ed umano in cui fluttuano petali caduti. Quello che mi ha affascinato di più però è Sulphur, uno chypre moderno aromatico e sulfureo dal finale vellutato e minerale con tanto di zampata caprina e fumosa. Emblematico del dualismo luciferino, maschile e femmineo, brutale ed raffinatissimo.

Neela Vermeire Creations

Neela Vermeire brings to Fragranze a lot of good news. First of all she joined the Kaon team that will distribute her line in Italy. Second the new stilish flacons designed by Pierre Dinand and far more handy, together with the new packaging. Last but not least the official launch of Ashoka, Duchaufour's forth creation dedicated to the legendary indian emperor who lived in 300 A. C. Like a wise monarch, Mysore sandalwood wears a bright crown with green notes of fig leaf and mimosa while covering itself up in osmanthus and iris sumptuousness. Its regal sillage bewitched me so soon I'll be back to you with more about it.

NU_BE

New fumes spring from the earth’s crust, everchanging substances like the creative imagination of NU_BE which entrusts again Antoine Lie with the task to shape [80Hg] Mercury and [16S] Sulphur. Unusual ozonic floral, Mercury is a shining fluid, nautical yet human with faded petals floating under its metallic surface. What charmed me more though is Sulphur, an aromatic and sulphureous modern chypre ending in a mineral velvet complete with a smoky animal kick. Emblematic of the diabolic dualism, masculine yet feminine, brutal yet so refined.

Vero.Profumo

Oltre a lanciare l'extait de parfum di Mito, Vero Kern porta a Firenze le sue nuove Voile d'Extrait di Onda, Rubj, Kiki e Mito. Stessa formulazione degli extrait ma in una concentrazione più ariosa a metà strada con le più fruttate eau de parfum. Mi è piaciuta particolarmente questa incarnazione di Kiki che esprime al meglio l'avvolgenza edibile del fondo ma lascia volare la lavanda in una scia superchic.

Amouage

Il fato che crea gli incontri cruciali della vita fortunatamente ha fatto incontrare Christopher Chong e Dorothée Piot di Robertet per creare Fate Woman, uno chypre orientale con la firma del classico frankincenso silver di Amouage. Sulla pelle di diversi amici rendeva un bellissimo sillage, col tocco vegetale del chili che intriga e trascina verso l'elegante fondo poudré.
