Even if a bit delayed, cold and grey days have come and with November approaching, definitely fall is here. Like every year, let me remind you the training schedule covering all the winter season.
There's plenty of trainings dedicated to both people working in the field, knowledgeable perfume lovers or even to freshmen willint to get more conscious about perfume.

In September Smell Festival started in Bologna the Smell Atelier program with the first part of The Language of Perfume led by the perfumer Martino Cerizza. In case you missed the October workshop dedicated to Jasmin, save the date for next appointment scheduled on November 6 with Fleurs - the alchemic life of flowers - where Francesca Faruolo will disclose all the physics and metaphysics of Orange Flower.
This year's news it's a serie of workshops about Perfume History I had the chance to develop together with Smell Atelier. The social changes together with taste and new raw materials will give the way to taste and understand some of the masterpieces that marked three revolutionary moments in perfumery. Looking forward to seeing you on November 29 for the first workshop The crazy years: Fragrances between the two wars. Save the date!
You can follow all the training program on the Smell Festival website that's useful also for participating.

After Halloween also the Mouillettes&Co school restarts on November 10-11 with a two-days Introduction to perfume techniques and the language of smells. Given the big request for Nose for one day, there are big news in 2015: the course will be on tour and Maria Grazia Fornasier team will be soon in Parma, Rome and Catania. To learn more and join the trainings, you can refer to the Mouillettes&Co  website.

"You just have to do something simple, and do it the best you can" F. Kurkdjian

Thinking of the olfactory signature of Caron, you can't help but speaking of something imposing, longlasting and full of contrasts. So looking back to the work of a powerful dissonances master like Ernest Daltroff it is quite a surprise the subtle balance and japoniste neatness of Pour un Homme.
Of course edges are there, the rough ones of lavender from Provence. Of course there's the dense warmth of vanilla. After eighty years since its launch though, the formal cleanliness makes of it one of the timeless and avantgarde creations of the brand. So avantgarde it still perfectly fits Francis Kurkdjian words about his vision of contemporary perfumery.
