Contrapposta ad un vinciano nero immacolato, l'imperfezione dei corpi diventa la forma più sublime di sessualità bruta nell'arte di Mustafa Sabbagh. Annusando Féminité du Bois non riesco a pensare ad una descrizione più azzeccata delle parole di Mustafa “l'imperfezione è verità”. Nel 1992, contrapponendo l'aspetto più pungente di fiori e legni, eterni simboli sessuali infusi in bois pour femme neo-deco, Feminité du Bois ha rivelato il lato maschile della femminilità e vice-versa, quasi fosse una novella Dama con l'ermellino.

Set against a Da Vinci-like immaculate black, the imperfection of bodies becomes the most sublime form of raw sexuality in Mustafa Sabbagh's art.  Smelling Féminité du Bois I can’t think of a better description than Mustafa’s words “imperfection is truth”. Back in 1992, juxtaposing the poignant side of flowers and woods, eternal sexual symbols set in a neo-deco bois pour femme, Feminité du Bois revealed the masculine side of femininity and vice-versa like a newborn olfactory Lady with an ermine.

In questi mesi fra un viaggio in Brasile, le vacanze ed altri impegni lavorativi, sicuramente vi sarete accorti che sto pubblicando pochissime cose. Fra le nuove collaborazioni iniziate ho avuto il piacere di essere stato invitato a scrivere per ÇaFleureBon (letteralmente "fa buon profumo"in francese), un popolare webzine americano che ha ottenuto negli anni molto seguito ed importanti riconoscimenti come il Fragrance Foundation Editorial Excellence in Fragrance Coverage Award 2015. Tutti i mesi potrete leggere un mio articolo sui Modern Masterpieces, ovvero le fragranze più influenti e rivoluzionari degli ultimi decenni. During the last months I've had a wonderful trip to Brazil, then some days of vacation and back busy to work with new projects ongoing so I had few time left for publishing as you surely realized by my silence here. Among the new collaborations I started, I had the pleasure to be invited as a contributor for ÇaFleureBon (literally "this smells so good"in french), the popular US webzine that gained many followers and important international prizes like the Fragrance Foundation Editorial Excellence in Fragrance Coverage Award 2015.
